Pet Sitting, Boarding, Doggie Daycare · Elkton, MD

Walks, daycare and boarding at my home in Elkton, because a tired pet is a good pet.

I'm Preddy. Pet sitting, let-outs and doggie daycare at my home, and boarding when you go on vacation and can't take your dog with you.

A weekday at my house

The day runs on a dog's clock.

Daycare dogs arrive from seven, walk, spend time outside and go home by six. Boarding dogs stay right through the weekend. The hour that matters most in this house has always been four o'clock.

  1. 7am

    The door opens

Doggie daycare starts at seven, Monday to Friday. Drop off on your way to work.

  2. Walking and outside time

Every daycare day includes walking and outside time, with other dogs for company.

  3. Visits to your house

A let-out, a let-out and feeding, or medicine for the pets who stay home.

  4. A brindle greyhound stretched out on a couch among blankets and toys

    4pm

“Everyday, I would come home and she would be at the door, waiting for her food and walk at 4pm.”

Preddy, on Duchess, her first greyhound

  5. 6pm

    Home, tired

Pick-up by six. If hours don't work, contact me and I will be willing to work something out.

  6. Boarders stay on

Daycare closed Saturday and Sunday except for Boarding. Boarding dogs spend the weekend here with my own.

“We have enjoyed our time with Healthy Pooches. We are first time dog owners of a bernerdoodle named Tilly. Tilly is a sweet and energetic dog who needs lots of love and attention. We can't thank Healthy Pooches enough for all the care and attention they have given Tilly. Not only does Tilly get daily walks, but she has the joy of socializing with other dogs. Healthy Pooches not only makes the dogs feel welcomed, but also makes the owners feel at ease with leaving their dogs in their care. We highly recommend using Healthy Pooches for your dog's needs.”

“I highly recommend Preddy As a pet sitter and Dog Walker. She is very professional and skillful and is also flexible in order to please her clients. My dog absolutely loves her. I have seen her almost daily as she walks other pets and has an equal rapport With the other animals. She maintains control. She takes time with them and talks to them and they seem to be exceedingly happy to be in her care. She’s also a wonderful person.”

Doggie daycare, Monday to Friday

What a daycare day is made of

No runs and no cages. Daycare happens at my home, on the grass and on the couch, with my own dogs in the house.

Duchess and Ruby

It started with two greyhounds who loved a walk.

“They both loved to be walked so much, It inspired me to have my own dog business.”

Duchess came to Preddy at 3 years old and was the best dog she ever had. Ruby, another greyhound, came two years later and did everything Duchess did, right down to letting Preddy know when it was time to brush her teeth.
